Service Description
Want to learn to give a fantastic shoulder rub? How about easing the tension in your partner's back? Phaedra and Adriano, Bristol's couples massage specialists, share some massage skills with you and your partner in a bespoke workshop tailored to your needs as a couple, and to the space you have available at home. WHAT’S INCLUDED? This is a tailor-made session built around your needs. A solid foundation for massage newcomers, or a levelling-up to elevate the touch you already offer each other. We'll include basic anatomy, crucial soft skills like mindful presence and open communication, and a variety of massage techniques drawn from our training in Swedish, holistic and deep tissue work. Please note we're not training you to be professional massage therapists or to carry out advanced remedial techniques - that would take a lot longer! WHO CAN BOOK? We welcome all couples aged over 18. Every body deserves massage and we're delighted to adapt around medical conditions, etc. wherever safety and practicality allow. Please check our general policies re: illness/accessibility and get in touch with any questions. WILL WE UNDRESS? As always, our sessions are entirely non-sexual and don't involve nudity. You'll have the option of massaging entirely clothed, or with the receiver given privacy to undress and covered with drapes (which allows for the use of oil).
Cancellation Policy
If you can't make your appointment, please let us know ASAP! That includes if you have a medical condition that contraindicates massage or are contagious with an airborne illness (e.g. covid-19, cold, flu). In that case, it's important you don't attend for the health of our massage therapists and other clients, some of whom are immuno-compromised. It's your responsibility to please let us know ASAP so we can reschedule. MORE THAN 48 HRS NOTICE: Rescheduling is free of charge. Cancellations incur a small admin fee (3% of the full service price). LESS THAN 48 HRS NOTICE: We can only reschedule free of charge if your slot gets filled up. Otherwise, rescheduling incurs a fee of 50% of the full service price. For no shows or cancellations, we will have to retain the full appointment fee to cover our costs and loss of income. IF YOU'VE BOOKED FOR TWO, BUT ONLY ONE CAN MAKE IT: Instead of rescheduling/cancelling, you can swap for a 4 hands massage (1hr maximum) or an individual massage. Please let us know as far in advance as possible if you'd like to do this. IF WE ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL YOUR APPOINTMENT: (e.g. due to being ill ourselves), we will always let you know as far in advance as possible and give you options at no charge.
