Service Description
All the massage I do falls under the holistic umbrella, addressing the interconnected systems of the body and mind. That’s the foundation of our training - a Lvl 4 Holistic Massage Diploma accredited by the Massage Training Institute. I approach massage as a blend of art and science, drawing on multiple modalities and applying anatomy knowledge with a creative touch. I aim to create a safe, comfortable space where you can truly inhabit yourself, meeting mind and body where they are and encouraging your own self-healing potential. SESSION INCLUDES We start with a chat to make a tailored plan for your massage. This is shorter on repeat visits - I allow extra time for first-time clients. I'll give you privacy to get comfortable on the cushioned massage table, complete with a heated blanket and your choice of music and scented oil. During the massage I welcome feedback and use it to adjust to your preference of pressure to get everything just right. Afterwards, you'll have a few minutes' privacy to get dressed and soak it all in before your session ends and you leave refreshed, restored and revitalised. DURATION 75 mins is best for first-time clients - equivalent to a 60 min session with extra time for an initial consultation to thoroughly tailor your massage. 60 mins is best for focus on a few areas or for a lighter full-body massage for general relaxation. 90 mins allows for a full body massage with deeper pressure, or more thorough focus on specific areas. 120 mins gives enough time for a thorough approach to the whole body, with time for detail and more in-depth techniques. You'll be walking on air afterwards! INCLUSIVITY My holistic, mental health and trauma-informed approach to massage takes into account your physical and emotional needs and puts you as individuals first. I strive to be anti-oppressive, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergence friendly and welcoming to all body types. I recognise (and celebrate!) that people, and couples, come in all shapes, sizes, colours and textures - all of them very deserving of some TLC. SAFETY I only offer massage to people aged 18 or over. All our services are safe and professional, and we have a zero tolerance policy for sexual conduct. You're given privacy to change and draped throughout - I uncover only the area I'm working on at the time. You choose areas to include or avoid, you can be clothed if you prefer, and I never massage or uncover the areas that would be covered by a bikini.
Cancellation Policy
If you can't make your appointment, please let us know ASAP! That includes if you have a medical condition that contraindicates massage or are contagious with an airborne illness (e.g. covid-19, cold, flu). In that case, it's important you don't attend for the health of our massage therapists and other clients, some of whom are immuno-compromised. It's your responsibility to please let us know ASAP so we can reschedule. MORE THAN 48 HRS NOTICE: Rescheduling is free of charge. Cancellations incur a small admin fee (3% of the full service price). LESS THAN 48 HRS NOTICE: We can only reschedule free of charge if your slot gets filled up. Otherwise, rescheduling incurs a fee of 50% of the full service price. For no shows or cancellations, we will have to retain the full appointment fee to cover our costs and loss of income. IF WE ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL YOUR APPOINTMENT: (e.g. due to being ill ourselves), we will always let you know as far in advance as possible and give you options at no charge.
